About Me

I graduated from National Taiwan Normal University and have been an assistant professor for 20 years. I have taught many overseas students about the history and culture of Taiwan and enjoy meeting and communicating with them.

I live with my husband and daughter in Taichung. I love to travel with my family and friends and get close to nature. I’ve travelled to more than ten countries. I spend a lot of time reading books, watching dramas, and socialising.

If you come to stay with me, I’ll introduce you to Taiwan’s food culture, show you local sightseeing spots and teach you daily Chinese to help you make conversations. I look forward to meeting you in Taichung!

Description

I live in a single-dwelling house with five rooms and a large courtyard. It’s approximately 300m². The living room is airy and bright. It has a wooden floor and ceilings with a large window and French door looking out the courtyard. The guest room has a comfortable single bed and a desk. Guests are welcome to use my kitchen and make coffee using the espresso machine. The best feature of the house is the courtyard. Guests can enjoy a variety of flowers, plants and seasonal vegetables.

My house is in a quiet residential area but only a 2-minute walk from the main roads in Taichung, where you can take U-bike, bus or train. It’s only 5 mins by bus to Chongde MRT Station and 30 mins by MRT to Wuri High-Speed Rail Station. The International Intercontinental Baseball Stadium, Morrison American School, and Hanshin shopping mall are nearby. As Taiwan is very safe, many foreigners live in this area. There’re four convenience stores, various restaurants, snack bars, and Chinese and Western medicine clinics within 3 mins walk.
