About Me

Hello, I’m Yuanyuan, an experienced Chinese teacher with CTCSOL (Han Ban) and ICA qualifications. I’ve studied and worked in the UK for 5 years. My Chinese teaching started then in a Chinese community.

I now live in my hometown Dalian, a coastal city in China. It’s small in size but very cosy and accommodates multi-culture. I’ve been working in an international G500 company for 12 years. I can speak English, Japanese, and basic Korean. My language skills enable me to exchange culture with friends from all over the world.

For learners with different levels, I’ll always prepare a tailor-made syllabus to cater for various needs and improve their speaking, accent, comprehension etc.

I like travelling and cooking. I’ll take you to experience loads of fun activities, such as the Chinese Tea ceremony, calligraphy, needlecraft, Chinese therapy and cooking. You’ll have a better understanding of Chinese culture and have a wonderful stay with my family.

Description

It’s a 140m² 3-bedroom apartment with 1 study and 1 bathroom. It was refurbished in 2017 and equipped with all daily necessities.

The guest room is cosy, bright and quiet with one double bed. The room is equipped with a desk, a bookshelf, a chest of drawers and a very big wardrobe with drawers that can be locked. There is also a locker to the door. Guests have no concern for privacy.

Guests are welcome to cook in my modern kitchen as it has 2 sets of hobs. It’s equipped with 2 fridges, microwave, oven, toaster, Vitamix, etc. Guests can have their own fridge. Hope my guests will enjoy staying in my home.

This residence is located in a high-tech park, surrounded by many large multinational companies. There are 4 buildings in the community with security guards at the gate. There are public security bureaus, parks, restaurants, supermarkets, convenience stores, clinics, fitness, swimming clubs and schools nearby. It takes 15 minutes by bus to Wanda Plaza and Jinhui Mall, the centre of the high-tech zone. The community has convenient transportation. It is a 3-minute walk from Hekou Metro Station and bus lines 531, 28, 3, 2002 nearby. It is a 10-minute drive to Xinghaiwan Bridge and only takes about 20 minutes to get to the city centre from the bridge.
