About Me

Greetings! I’m Teacher Luo from Shanghai. I have over 30 years of experience teaching Chinese at various levels of education, from primary to high school. Many of my former students have pursued successful careers in China and abroad. I retired early in 2016 and since then I have written and published several educational articles and essays. I share a home with my husband, and our son and his family often visit us on weekends. I have a wonderful granddaughter who is nine years old and whom I cherish very much.

My hobbies include reading, writing, travelling and photography. I also have a beautiful garden, a dog and three cats to keep me company. I look forward to welcoming you to my home and showing you around.

Description

My home is a four-story villa with about 200 M² of space. The first floor features a living room with a traditional style, a dining room with ample space, and a kitchen. On the second floor, there are two bedrooms and a study. The third floor has a guest room that is large and bright, with a king-size bed and a walk-in closet. The guest room also has a private bathroom, and a sunny terrace on the same floor. My garden is 20 M² and has roses and a grape tree. I enjoy gardening and guests are welcome to join me.

My residence is a European-style villa in Waigang Town, Jiading District. The villa combines British architecture and Shanghai’s local style, creating a spacious and elegant living space. The community has 270 villas and a natural environment with abundant greenery and birdsong. The air is fresh and the noise is low, unlike the busy city centre of Shanghai. There are three bus lines No61, No53 and No57 within walking distance, as well as a shopping mall and several supermarkets nearby.
