About Me

Hi, I’m Renee from Dalian, a professional Chinese language teacher for foreigners (CTCOL certificate). I have lived and studied in Australia for 15 years. Dalian has China’s longest coastline, multiple national 5A level scenic spots, and super delicious seafood at 39 degrees north latitude. Dalian was once colonized by Japan, leaving behind a lot of Japanese and Russian-style buildings. It is a city with a vibrant history and culture.

As a Chinese language teacher, I provide high-quality Chinese instruction to my students. I tailor my teaching plans to each student’s needs and proficiency levels, helping them to better master the Chinese language. Additionally, I utilize my interpreting experience to offer Chinese-English translation services to my students, assisting them in better understanding and applying Chinese.

My strengths lie in my understanding and knowledge of various cultures, which enables me to communicate and interact effectively with people from different countries. I am optimistic, positive, and eager to help others. I enjoy engaging in conversations with individuals from various nations and learning about their cultures and backgrounds. I live in a residential area called “Yuecui Tai”. It is in the Hi-Tech zone of Ganjingzi district, on south Jinchuan Road in Dalian. This is a fast-growing area with many high-tech companies and young people. There are buses including No 202 and metro line No 12 nearby. It’s very convenient to go to Wanda Plaza, a big shopping centre with everything from street food to luxury goods. You can also easily go to other attractions such as Statue Park, Xinghai Bay Bridge and Xinghai Square.
