About Me

Hi, I’m Joan from Chengdu. I am an open-minded and easy-going individual with a strong sense of responsibility. In my free time, I enjoy reading books, traveling, and practicing calligraphy. I am also skilled in preparing delicious Chinese cuisine, including iconic Chuan and Xiang dishes. I come from a happy family of four: my husband, son, daughter, and me. We also have an adorable pet dog who brings us so much joy.

I have extensive experience teaching Chinese, covering areas such as General Chinese, Business Chinese, and HSK. My teaching methods are versatile, incorporating textbooks, videos, situational practices, and interactive communication. I graduated from Hunan Normal University and am fluent in English, ensuring smooth and barrier-free communication when you learn Chinese with me.

Chengdu is a fascinating city known for its relaxed lifestyle and incredible tourist attractions, such as Wuhou Temple, Jinli Ancient Walking Street, Wide and Narrow Alleyways and People’s Park. The people here are exceptionally friendly, and I firmly believe you will fall in love with this city once you visit.

My home is in the Evergrande Xijincheng residential area. I live on the 4th floor of a 28-story high-rise building overlooking a peaceful community park. The apartment spans 124 square meters and includes 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, a dining room, and a balcony. It is simply decorated, creating a warm and comfortable atmosphere.

The neighbourhood’s location is exceptionally convenient, just 500 meters from Metro Line 2 and the Cha Dianzi Bus and Metro Terminal. Metro Line 2 provides access to various transfer options, including Lines 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, 27, and the Airport Line.
